マーメイドコーヒーロースターズ代表・萩原明東が、
12月17日、四国・香川で開催された 「TAP CUP 冬」
にて、春大会に続く 2連覇 を達成しました。
本大会は、プロ・アマチュアの垣根を越え、
競技者同士が審査を行う非常にシビアなフォーマット。
一杯の完成度がそのまま評価に直結する、
緊張感の高い大会です。
1回戦は僅差での勝利。
2回戦ではプロバリスタ3名を含むラウンドで
5名中3票を獲得。
決勝では、本人が「この日いちばん美味しい」と評した
強豪の一杯と対戦し、4-1 で優勝を決めました。
この経験と感覚をチーム全体で共有し、
「毎日の一杯を、少し特別に」。
これからもマーメイドコーヒーロースターズは
進化を続けていきます。
Meito Hagihara, representing Mermaid Coffee Roasters,
claimed the title at the TAP CUP Winter held in Kagawa,
earning a back-to-back victory following the spring edition.
The TAP CUP is known for its demanding format,
where professionals and amateurs compete side by side,
and competitors judge each other solely on the quality in the cup.
After a close win in Round 1,
Round 2 saw Hagihara face three professional baristas,
earning 3 out of 5 votes.
In the final round, he went head-to-head with the strongest cup of the day,
securing the title with a 4–1 victory.
